This Blog focuses on Ancestor Stories, both the stories themselves about my family’s ancestors and discussions of where they come from and how to prepare and share them. These stories may be non-fiction or fiction – we will always tell which is which, of course. Also see my KINNICK blog and The HOMEPLACE Series Blog, left sidebar, scroll down.

Wordless (nearly) Wednesday - Pikes Peak
Our family in about 1975, perhaps... everyone takes these photos, right - my family vacation. The girls still travel all over the world... got them started right, I guess!
Thanks for stopping by The Ties That Bind! Love the photo at the summit of Pikes Peak - I live in the Denver area and have spent many hours and days camping in Colorado Springs, but I've always been afraid to go to the summit of Pikes Peak - someday - maybe!
Family photos are the best!
