Families are Forever! ;-)
Every time I look at Civil War data and history I am awestruck at how it affected families far from Gettysburg, Bull Run, Manaasas --- those names that ring in my ear. Even my Wisconsin folk from a tiny hamlet sent fathers, sons, and grandsons off to those battles --- and they were far away from the battle fields.
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing. I started this series of Sunday Civil War tributes before the Matthew Broderick WDYTYA episode, but that certainly reinforced the effort! ;-)
