Families are Forever! ;-)
This Blog focuses on Ancestor Stories, both the stories themselves about my family’s ancestors and discussions of where they come from and how to prepare and share them. These stories may be non-fiction or fiction – we will always tell which is which, of course. Also see my KINNICK blog and The HOMEPLACE Series Blog, left sidebar, scroll down.
How nice you have photos that old! You are very lucky!
ReplyDeleteNot s lot, of course, but nice to have the few we do, for sure. Thanks for the comment! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! I think you win bragging rights for the oldest person photographed in a genealogy blog. I love that bonnet!
ReplyDeleteActually, there was an older one at:

I have to thank you! I have been tracing my roots and I had no clue about my grandfather Lee Arnold Smith's family, until I came across your family tree history. Amazing! It is so good to know where I came from. Thank you so much for sharing! Laurel Brunken
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurel. It is a comment like yours that keeps me going! My youngest daughter is going to Europe this fall, and one of her projects is finding out more about our Michael Smith - son of Beatrix, above. In fact, she called me from her home in Austin, just last night, and asked some questions, including about Beatrix!
ReplyDeletePlease send me a note, if you will, at billsmith2003@gmail.com so I can keep in touch with you as we find more information. OK? Thanks! ;-)
