Wordless (nearly) Wednesday -
Nancy and Bill - earliest photo together ?
From a church group photo - we were side-by-side - love it!
Were we 5 or 6, do you suppose?
Just celebrated 51st Wedding Anniversary! ;-)
Families are Forever! ;-)
This Blog focuses on Ancestor Stories, both the stories themselves about my family’s ancestors and discussions of where they come from and how to prepare and share them. These stories may be non-fiction or fiction – we will always tell which is which, of course. Also see my KINNICK blog and The HOMEPLACE Series Blog, left sidebar, scroll down.
Congratulations Dr Bill & Mrs Bill! Childhood sweethearts. That's so charming!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments... it is awesome, actually! ;-)
ReplyDeleteKudos! How lovely to have a picture from childhood. Have to admit, I can't imagine marrying any of the boys I knew then, but rumor has it some turned into lovely men ;-)
ReplyDeleteOur community was centered on a small rural Methodist Church on a corner, with a nice one-room school right across the road. Nancy lived on the same section as the church, about a mile and a half away; went to the one-room country school through 7th grade. I lived 4 1/2 miles away... but, my dad grew up in that community, one and a half miles from the church... pretty close knit group, some would say! ;-) ...the Star Church... so we all went to church together...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Dr. Bill. This is precious!
