This Blog focuses on Ancestor Stories, both the stories themselves about my family’s ancestors and discussions of where they come from and how to prepare and share them. These stories may be non-fiction or fiction – we will always tell which is which, of course. Also see my KINNICK blog and The HOMEPLACE Series Blog, left sidebar, scroll down.
Wow, I never had a student ID card until I went to college. It used to get me into all the historical sights in Boston for FREE! And discounts in the book stores in Harvard Square, and a plethora of other goodies. This brings back lots of nice memories. We were just in Boston last weekend and we had to pay for everything- no more discounts! Until I qualify for one of those AARP cards, LOL!!!
Love it! Thanks for sharing. Brings back memories of a simpler time.

ReplyDeleteThe AARP card is neat. Do get it as soon as you qualify! Mine is quite well worn... ;-)
